Hello everyone

I have an up coming flight with VS to BLR and then a separate ticket for an onward flight BLR to CMB on UL.

I am trying to work what Indian Visa I need to get for this connection - does anyone know what the likelyhood of VS through checking baggage would be to an onward flight on a separate ticket with a non skyteam airline?

The VS call centre said the check in staff may do it if the connection was less than 5 hours but couldn't guarantee it.

I may just go hand baggage only to save the faff - but I am still not sure if I should get a transit visa or tourist visa for India, or if I need one at all if I am flying straight out.

Any advice from anyone?
