If this happens, this is an entire acquisition of the brand. Marriott isn't going to buy just assets. And if Marriott does acquire Rosewood, I would assume they would figure out how to offload the properties since owning real estate does not vibe with their asset light model.

Who knows whether this is true is not, but I was told another hotel company tried to acquire Rosewood and was outbid....so based on this post, could they have been outbid by Marriott? Only time will tell.
