While I know that bid-upgrades usually keep the original ticket's baggage allowance, my checked-in boarding pass explicitly states an entitlement of 2 X 23 kg bags. I’m a bit confused—can I rely on what is printed on my boarding pass and check in two bags, or should I stick to my original Economy allowance?
if you won a bid on LH the luggage allowance changes so is the number of points you get and everything. If you upgrade with cash during OLCI/at the gate or with miles or eVouchers then it won’t change.
Edit: As lotterhansa pointed out I must have mixed up something and that's not true.
