I have been on other trips since my last trip report, but didn't think there was enough of interest to bother writing them up. This time it's an xmas break to the far east from the UK. Specifically Shanghai and South Korea.

Preamble:

The flights were booked with Avios and an Amex 241 to halve the cost. I happened to be browsing around BA.com and saw there was J availability to Shanghai on dates that worked pretty well for my xmas leave from work. Not perfect as I had to fly out on a Monday not the Saturday and the return got me home at 3pm the Sunday before I had to go back to the grind. There was also a lot of messing about so I probably only had about 7 days of holiday in that 14 days. The problem was that I really wanted to visit South Korea not China, but BA don't fly there. There's plenty of other One World options from Manchester to Seoul, but not ones you can use an Amex voucher on.
