I don’t see why TG or PG cannot produce noodles with shrimp - even if it is not a regular dish on TG flights, they can still produce it for CX flights under specific instructions from CX ?
usually (at least for CX) if a flight is catered at outport, the caterer would be responsible for all of the meals
some items might still be from HKG, e.g. unopened cans/bottles of drinks, or ice cream stored in the freezer
what can actually happen, is that even when the flight is doubled catered from HKG, if following some disruptions or otherwise, a significant number of last minute bookings emerges for the return flight, CX might be able to request some extra meals from the BKK caterer last-minute
