It appears JAL’s customer service believes in providing a quick turnaround but neglect thoroughly reviewing the customer’s response, before asking questions, hence requesting info that is already addressed in the thread.

The customer service especially servicing North America and iOS app all just need revisit and thought through. I would love to meet the product owner for the app and ask if he or she even used the app themselves before making updates.
Dear SQ025: Thanks for your feedback! Your comment is also accurate among the Japanese citizens. I have several Japanese national friends and mentioned my dissatisfaction with my recent experience with JAL. I was told that among the Japanese community, there are many avid travelers agreeing that while the air crew and service provided in-flight by JAL still remains second to none, the ground aspect of their services have drastically deteriorated.
