For the same base fare, I can get 300 Avis points, so for 12 rentals that's 3600 points, which is enough for 1 or 2 free days of rental. Again, not great. I'll have to think about this, but overall it's not really worth worrying too much about it, given the low values involved.
In which case the value of the SQCs would be ~$250, and the value of the Avis rentals would be ~$400, but you'd have to do a tiny bit of legwork to get the value out of the Avis rentals.
