When your flight is cancelled, it will be up to your agent to rebook you.

Your eagerness to cancel and rebook is probably not beneficial to you (unless you can currently find a better or acceptable ticket now for a lower price); I'd advise you to wait, and have The BA Club rebook you when that becomes necessary
