I finished a 3 days stay 1/1 - 1/4 in a Park Suite.
Confirmed with some of the employees this was a tear down and rebuild for most if not all rooms.
Since a number were smoking that makes sense, the new suites are generated from 2 rooms -> 1 suite.
We ate at all the restaurants and the biggest disappointment for me was the NY Grill, I liked the Oak Door at the Grand Hyatt better, you could get top end tenderloin waygu for cheaper.
And the wine prices for bottles are insane at NYGrill - a bottle I have myself in my cellar I paid 130 for and they want $700+ for it! Sure it's a 2018 vintage but I've never seen a markup like that - I passed it on to the winery and they were shocked.
The one fun thing at NYGrill is the have a fruit plate, the most expensive fruit plate I've ever seen... but it was amazing, base points at least

I've never had such good melon. The grand gave us strawberries in the room that was special like these, simply amazing. And the citrus had no pith, so it was amazing. The grapes and blueberries were the only thing that didn't wow us. Raspberries in Japan are clearly a little different from what my wife grows and thus taste different, but it was nice to try such perfect fruit. I've seen fruit for sale at insane prices at the stores - and now I know what it tastes like, it's not just the appearance your paying for.

The breakfast is nuts, you order from a menu but then there's the buffet. The lobster potato salad was amazing. And you can get chocolate mousse at breakfast! There's a ton more options.
The french restaurant was my favorite of the 4, there's a number of extra small courses so it's very much a 5+ course meal at lunch. And I managed to get through a full lunch with dessert in < 1 hour when I was checking out after 1pm (lunch starts at 12)
Everyone was in a great mood, and after talking to some of them in Japanese they would continue to talk in Japanese to me which I loved.
The Pool is not as nice as the Andaz, but we still had a nice swim.
I took a few pictures of the suite, this is 4710, sorry the bedroom is pretty out of focus, but it's enough to get the idea.
