I just noticed the FAQ on eUpgrade policy at https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/...ns.html#/home:
Is this new?

It re-states some things I thought I knew, but also has minimum connection times before a trip needs separate upgrade requirements for each segment, and also

eUpgrade credits will be awarded within 48 hours of completing an eligible activity, such as achieving a higher status, meeting a Milestone Benefit level, or completing a Milestone Benefit selection.
