We have a small airline like AY which doesn't even bother to code their website to sell proper multi-city tickets (actually they didn't sell them at all for quite some time after some revamp of their homepage). Surely they aren't going to invest a penny on something like this.
Having said all this, I do wish their website could take care of a lot more things than is currently possible. Like putting in different FF# for each segment, for example. But not going to happen.
To be clear, my bigger whine was how crappy that American Airlines handles it... they are pretty huge in comparison to Finnair and AAs website cant even figure out how to pull in an AY freq flyer number.
For AY - I generally think Finnair handles everything quite well in comparison to my decades of experience with AA.
