Ugh, this just happened to me. Booked yesterday using AmEx Platinum CDP, checked reservation today and the rate was 1/3 higher. I did not make any changes and my email confirmation says: "Rate is guaranteed." This is at an HLE so perhaps I will try stopping by and chatting with them to see what's going on. But this is silly.
