BA sent me an email yesterday saying that my UK flight had been brought forward by 30 mins. This change doesn't suit my schedule, so I called BA and asked to be put on a later flight. The agent would only change my award flight if I paid a £35 fee. When I protested, the agent said there was a condition in the Ts&Cs that I had to pay if the time change was less than 120 minutes. I never used to have to pay in these situations; has something changed?
I am sure someone else will be along shortly to confirm, but I think I read a recent post where this over 120 minutes was quoted as a ‘significant change’ by BA, but under 120 was a minor change. But I may not have recalled correctly.
PS Minor change meaning you would have to pay.
