Works. Showed in my app now as a choice rather than an app for a new card. Chose it. Obviously too soon for the credit - I'll try to remember to post back when I see it.

I expect I'll take the $500 after Feb 1 (still Diamond based on that conversion) and then downgrade back to Gold.
