Sorry, my tired brain is not being clear: It seemed that the complaint was that zone 2 is too crowded and thus the suggestion was to "[...]
move CC, 25K, 35K to Zone 3". I discounted 25k given the cc and edq routes to get it. tbh, I'm not sure what difference zone 2 being crowded (assuming separate lines for z1 and z2) really makes because it presumes everyone sitting around you is also zone 2 which I find unlikely (and annecdotaly, not been my experience). Then again, when I fly Y, I usually choose seats closer to the front which would be z5 without status.
I could see the crowding be a problem if the seat you choose would normally be z3 and they start calling those passengers before z2 is complete.
