Yeah, I think the problem is selling it as "priority boarding" when it's that far down the list.

1 - J+SE
2 - PY+*G
3 - Other stuff you want to market as "before the masses" like AC*S, CC, maaaaybe *S or at least UA*S and whatever other airlines they want closer deals with
3.5 - People who need extra time
4+ Same as before

I could get behind that, even though it would not have a single impact on me.

But of course it would just result in half the gates saying "Now boarding zone one...now boarding zones one and two... now boarding zones one through three" before you have time to step from the front of the zone 1 line up to the counter.
