My dad called to cancel a Biz Gold card after first renewal. He was offered 10k points for $5k spend which he accepted even though it's a petty poor offer since he currently has no SUBs that he's working on. He figured that the points plus $240 flex credit covers the AF to keep the card for the 4x categories.
