You show great restraint MrsW ..... I'd estimate our table has been loosing 3-4 bottles a night of IC Edinburgh inventory this week.

Love the George lounge but consistency of service is not it's strong point. When manned well, it's an excellent model of service and generosity. The next night it's self service and extremely patchy. The gap between the two lounge service levels is so wide as to make it an exposure which is a shame as when it's good it's lovely. But the other nights it's clearly a back fill of staff form other departments who are a lot less up to speed. Let's see what tonight brings. On the plus side, a three hour lounge window is nice and the champagne itself (whilst not so recognisable to me) is not half bad.
