none of it makes sense beyond the core logic of them wanting to downgrade the service and thinking passengers are sheep who won’t care anyway. There is no attempt at coherence beyond that - ploughman tea, afternoon tea, supper, brunch, are just code words for cheaper and whatever cuts the cost will be fine by them… I expect both afternoon tea and ploughman tea to be replaced by “an exciting selection of finger sandwiches” before long anyway,
