This just happened to me, too. Shows available via aa.com and BA's own site as a business class award seat, off-peak price, on the dates I want. But, even though AA SWU cleared on the AA segment, agent can't clear it on the BA segment. Is this something that could eventually become available closer to departure? or if it's not available, that's it, it's not available? BA U fare is there, too, so it does seem like something has changed in this being no longer the standard. I see the award open, even with married segment availability. Both LHR-MAD and ORD-LHR-MAD in business for an award, but not a main cabin fare to business using a SWU on the BA side. Just when I thought we finally had a benefit we understood, they change it!

When/if it does clear, how long does it take to switch from "on request" status to confirmed?
