I think if you have an NW e-ticket, you have to check in on NW or nwa.com since they issued the ticket. I'm not sure if the interline e-ticketing system allows you to check in on CO on a NW e-ticket.
Let's see:
1) Let me rephrase. The ticket is electronic with a NW ticket number.
2) If I were to check in at the airport, I would check in with CO and not NW, as I am flying CO. (Let's say it were a paper ticket, I woudl check in with CO, no questions asked).
