I had a base RJ Club account with a membership year that ran Apr - Apr (BA The Club orphan).
I recently status matched to RJ Gold.
My RJ Gold card is now showing an expiry date of DEC 2026 and when I go into the app it says I have 18 segments to reach Platinum Hawk.
What it does NOT say is whether my membership year has now also changed along with the card expiry and I cannot find it anywhere on the website where it clarifies when my membership year actually ends.
Just curious if anyone else knows the answer to this one before I start the email back and forth game :-)

You don't get a membership year with RJ in the same sense as BA for example.
Your year resets when you move tier.
If you want to promote to a new tier, then you need to have had the required number of flights in the previous 12 months.
So join April 2025.
Promote to Gold Sparrow December 2025.
You need 26 flights (total) by December 2026 to keep GS.
To get to Platinum Hawk you need 46 flights, so as an example say you plod along, then decide to try to go for PH in June 2026.
As long as you have 46 flight between June 2025 and June 2026 then you'll be promoted.
