The calulator shows AA less for BAC credit than AS. By the BAC chart AS D gets 25% of miles and AA D 50%. Route LAX-ANC chosing AA code 161 miles, AS code 586 miles. Glitch?
If you credit your flights to BA, points on AA/IB/BA flights are spend based as they share fare information with each other. In the case of RTW tickets, my experience was that would be
base fare x (seg distance / total distance)
AS wont sell you to BA so still distance based.
