Any company is allowed to make exceptions to its own return policies. You and I are getting stock answers right now that reflect policy, but I bet they make a change. And the return policy is solely within KS power to make exceptions, not BA, regardless of where the mistake originated.
This just in from KS regarding my Final Sale item:
We understand that you would like to return ____ from your online order ____ due to the promotion that was not honored to your order. While this was a final sale item, we will be happy to approve a return exception since we want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase.
Case closed for me, as far as I'm concerned they made me whole.
