Maybe it’s just me but doesn’t anyone else ever find themselves irritated by someone’s behavior street side to then find themselves around that same person multiple times airside? My wife tells me to worry less about what other people do but it’s hard for me not to notice poor behavior.
Today, flying to IAH from DEN, guy three behind me in line at TSA is loud talking into his earbuds while
holding his phone up in front of his face. I don’t get that and it annoys me (I hear my wife saying “Why do you care how he uses his phone? Ignore him”.). He then starts sighing and saying out loud that he doesn’t understand what’s taking so long. The line is moving fine so, whatever.
Its 67 degrees here today and he’s got a suit, wool overcoat, hat, scarf and apparently his pockets are full of change, keys, AirPod case, a memory stick and god knows what else because he holds up the line while disrobing and emptying all his crap into the tray. So much for being annoyed about the TSA line time.
I head down to the last car on the train and as the doors are closing, here comes dippy, rushes on and makes the doors bounce back.
He ends up 2 seats away from me in the Club, back on the phone telling someone how he’s a big time flyer and how his meetings are going to be amazing but he’s annoyed he has to travel on a Sunday. Again, eye roll and whatever dude and I move.
Guess who is standing directly in front of the preboarding sign at my gate when I head down? Yep, him again.
GA starts preboard and he marches ahead of the one wheelchair and scans his electronic BP. GA says with a smile that it’s only pre board for disabilities and he says “Yes, I know” and heads down the jetway.
I take my seat in F and see him sitting back about 25 rows

I’m trying take pleasure in the little things.
