If you read the threads that I posted links to in your other thread and that
jerry a. laska has again provided links to your questions will be answered. In summary:-
(1) BA and AY are quoting a totally different price from AA. The price in the sticky at the top of the main forum page are still reasonably accurate. Although they are in GBP a bit of playing around with conversion rates will get the USD price.
(2) I had the AA RTW desk set-up my itinerary. I emailed and telephoned Tal who were able to issue the ticket. They billed my UK CC but would not post the tickets. I had to either (a) travel to WAW and collect the ticket any day Monday to Friday (they are closed weekends) or (b) arrnage for a courier to collect the tickets for me. I choose option (b). I arranged with FedEx to collect the tickets and deliver them to me in the UK. It cost around GBP50.
(3) If you keep the ticket to 16 segments or below Tal can issue it as an e-ticket.
(4) My ticket was issued with 3 segments booked and the remaining 17 left open. I have a handwritten paper ticket.
