I did registration at DUS, so no more registration needed within the EU. Nonetheless I was directed to a machine by the staff at VLC even though I told her that I had been registered in Germany, she insisted we should have to do in each EU country.

I scanned my passport at the machine, which said "go to eGate", eventually I wasted time.
The same thing happened to me in AGP but I skipped the registration line. The e-gate did not work for me and I had to join the regular line. A friend did the same as you and did the registration again and got the same message, and got through the e-gate fine.

So it seems like there is some kind of verification step at the registration kiosk that’s needed even if you are already registered!
