Taiwanese congee is plain with no seasoning, you just keep adding the side dishes provided and eat it with the congee as you see fit
And if you run out of congee the FA will gladly give you a refill
I would try it if you're interested, and if you find it you didn't enjoy the experience ask the FA for the omelet instead
Alternatively stick with the western option, but ask FA for a sample of the congee. Aside from the main "protein" in the congee course the side dishes are readily available
Watch out for the fermented tofu cube, it's potent
