Next week, I am flying intra-Schengen from Stockholm, due to land at 13:40 at AMS, and have an onward flight to Osaka leaving at 14:35, i.e. 55 min layover, all in a single-ticket award business class. This is of course vulnerable for any delays, and missing the Osaka flight could really mess up my schedule.
My question: there is an earlier KLM flight from Stockholm, which would really make the AMS change much calmer. Has anyone been successful in getting on an earlier flight which could make life less risky both for me and for KLM? There is plenty of space on the earlier flight. Would you go earlier to the airport and take a chance to get on the earlier flight or is that pointless?
