The crap thing about that is that KLM often forces me into those connections with their pricing (on intra-EU trips). I assume it's because evening flights have fewer connections and thus fewer pax = better availability of low booking classes. I'd be perfectly happy to take 5 hrs transfer instead of 45 min transfer but I'm not gonna pay extra 100€ for it. So I book the short connection and then KLM ends up paying presumably few dozens of euros to deliver my bag to my home whenever the inbound is late since AMS can never handle bags under MCT 😂
