Question about this, I have non-UA *G (from AC), and UA Premier Silver.

As I understand it, in check in the UA Silver gets me a free E+ seat, however I’d need to then swap it for my *G to get access to the lounge and group 1 boarding.

Is that even possible or will switching to my *G mean I lose a seat I got at check in?
