Basic overview of 2025 Fleet changes:
  • 7x 789 Delivered
  • NEXT Interior modifications continued for 319, 320, 738, 739, and 7M9 fleets
  • 35x 7M9 delivered
  • 16x 7M8 delivered
  • 32x A321N delivered
  • 11x A320 exited the fleet
  • 4x A319 exited the fleet
  • 12x E175 delivered
  • 8x E175SC delivered
  • 16x E175 converted to 70-seat E175SCs
  • 13x E170 exited the fleet
  • 6x CR9 exited the fleet
  • 7x CR7 exited the fleet (converted to CR5)
  • 22x CR5 entered the fleet
  • 2x ER4 joined the fleet
  • 3x CR2 exited the fleet

Jan 2026 United Fleet & 2026 Outlook:
  • A319 fleet: 77 total– NEXT conversions continue, more retirements expected
  • A320 fleet: 69 total – More retirements expected
  • A321neo: 59 total – deliveries continue throughout 2026
  • A321XLR: Deliveries set to begin in 2026
  • B73G fleet: 40 total – cabin re-configuration to begin in 2026
  • B738 fleet: 141 total – NEXT conversions will complete in 2026, GUM aircraft to be converted to mainline configuration
  • B739 fleet: 148 total (12 non-ER, 136 ER)– NEXT conversions continue throughout 2026
  • B7M8 fleet: 123 total – deliveries now complete, 10x 7M8 to become new GUM fleet
  • B7M9 fleet: 120 total – deliveries continue throughout 2026, early-frame NEXT conversions continue
  • B752 fleet: 40 total – no changes anticipated, possible start of retirements late 2026 or early 2027
  • B753 fleet: 21 total – no changes anticipated
  • B763 fleet: 37 total – 24x 46J, 13x 30J, no changes anticipated
  • B764 fleet: 16 total – no changes anticipated
  • B772 fleet: 19 total – 28F domestic config, no changes anticipated
  • B77E fleet: 55 total – 51 in Polaris/PP config; 4 in 32F domestic config, no changes anticipated
  • B77W fleet: 22 total –no changes anticipated
  • B788 fleet: 12 total –no changes anticipated
  • B789 fleet: 48 total – 20x deliveries scheduled in 2026 all in new hi-J configuration
  • B78J fleet: 21 total – no changes anticipated in 2026
  • E175 fleet: 150 total (59 SkyWest, 28 Mesa, 63 Republic) – 3 more deliveries in 2026
  • E175SC fleet: 94 total (62 SkyWest, 32 Mesa) – 8 more deliveries in 2026
  • E170 fleet: 4 total (all Republic) – fleet will completely exit in 2026
  • CRJ-700 fleet: 12 total (all SkyWest) – fleet will completely exit in 2026, converted to CR5s
  • CRJ-550 fleet: 80 total (53 GoJet, 24 SkyWest, 3 Floater) – more deliveries and conversions in 2026 for both SkyWest and GoJet
  • CRJ-200 fleet: 104 total (all SkyWest) including 23 floaters, 24 parked – expect more retirements in 2026 as CR5 fleet grows
  • ERJ-145XR fleet: 59 total (all CommuteAir) – no changes anticipated
** note CRJ-200 fleet numbers differ from the UA fleet plan because I have included all frames where UA does not include pro-rate contract planes
