The Splurge Credit posted two days after my in-store GC purchase.

On another note, a DP about elite benefits when booking with the $300 hotel credit. I used the $300 hotel credit at a Hilton. I gave my HHonors number at check-in and received stay credit for my 2 nights, as well as a welcome amenity of 2 bottles of water and 2 snacks. I did not receive points or the F&B credit.
