PayPay merchant side processing seems to integrate with other major SE Asia and a few European + misc payments systems https://about.paypay.ne.jp/en/pr/20251003/01/. Maybe one of the Taiwan partners would work for you with PayPay? There's been a few small JP places I've noticed PayPay or Cash only which probably used to be only cash.
