Just completed an underwhelming stay at the IC Barclay with The Edit. The hotel assured me (I haven't looked at the folio yet) that we would get the Diamond, Ambassador, AND The Edit credits and benefits. They largely overlap, of course. They told me we would get free breakfast and the $100 The Edit credit - I am not sure if they will be giving us the $20 credits but I imagine it's possible. The only downside here is the breakfast was so lackluster here we decided we would rather eat off-property on the second morning, so we didn't end up eating that much at this property. However, for possible future stays at ICs abroad, it sounds like it should work. We shall see, I guess. Of course, being that this IS the US they stuck to just the one level upgrade (even though we had this multi-pronged Diamond + Ambassador + The Edit = just one room type upgrade, to a high floor). It was fine, but not exactly impressive.

For the future we will be steering clear of this hotel for New York, but we've had very good experiences at other ICs so we'll see how this The Edit thing works out internationally.
