Seems a bit of a silly thing to be upset about. Other than the non-revs (who probably aren't being thanked), the FAs almost certainly don't know who paid for your D1 ticket or how you got MM status (I hit 2MM on DL with a good chunk of my own spend). As far as upgrades to D1, other than domestic, there's no comp status upgrades to D1 (other than rare op-ups) and even those who are using GUCs are often buying up to PS class these days to apply them at booking time.
