As one of my friends used to say “I justify the upgrade cost on my expense report as ‘getting work done on the way’ but the reality is: If I end up in J, I’m getting _drunk_”

I can empathize that sitting in PY is sometimes the better option, e.g., if you want to be productive. It can be difficult to fight the forces of the slippery slope known as the PDB. But I’ve never declined an upgrade opportunity because of it.
