I was extremely worried about her connection. AC33 (YYZ-YVR leg)'s delay wasn't posted until the very last minute at the scheduled boarding time citing maintenance issues. I suppose 5 hrs delay is better than missing her connection... -ish
I'm not sure if they had actually commenced boarding, but the plane was on the ground for a day before, so it wasn't related to the weather event on Sunday.
When I wake up this morning, she has just boarded AC33 to Sydney... We can probably make the most out of these situations (travel insurance and all) but I feel bad for a FOTSG (literally, she's there to see her family) who is not familiar with navigating the system.
Also, not sure how/where she spend the generous $15 meal voucher from AC, most places close at midnight there, including the MLL.
