Is Delta's Customer Service declining, or just my perception

I don't know if anyone else feels the same as me, or if it's just me. Over the past 2 years I have seen or in my perception experienced a significant decline in Delta's overall customer service. From Gate Agents, Flight Attendants, the Diamond Line, an overall appreciation company wide for loyalty. Up until 2 years ago, I thought Delta really did things right, made me feel valued as a customer, appreciated feed back, and almost always resolved things immediately and fairly when things went wrong.

I don't know the last time I was thanked for being Diamond while boarding, or a MM, not that doing that is a huge deal, but it makes you think the employees at least appreciate you as a valued customer. Flight attendants would sometimes come around and thank you for being loyal, mm, etc.... I haven't experienced either in more than a year. Whenever I would call in with a problem, they would fix it, or do there best to make it right, and do so quickly almost always with one call or contact. Those days seem to be gone...

I don't want the conversation to get hijacked by my particular issues I have called in for lately, but I do want feedback on others if they are having good or bad experiences lately, or is it just me, and I need to be patient as I have just had a rougher go than what is the norm recently. Although in the club, another Diamond pax was having a rough go from flight delays (basically they told him he would miss his connection and the best they could do was 2 days later, and no real apologies), so the Diamond line didn't appear to treat him very well either.
