Had an experience tonight whereby BA escorted us out into arrivals as usual at top of hour after an aborted domestic departure. We were dumped in the international arrivals stream. The border force officer called a supervisor, who advised us this was highly unusual as we should have been taken to domestic arrivals. This has actually happened to us twice in the last 2 months, but the first time we had our passports so just used e gates very quickly. This time we only had driving license so had to join a very long queue for Other countries. The Border force supervisor who was called said this was wrong and we’d been mis handled by BA. Is this correct? I’m back in the terminal tomorrow morning and so want to take this up with a BA manager.
