Off topic but I think it is a clever move by AF. BA used to command a significant F travel between Israel and the US vv but since they moved to short haul planes then interrupted the route there was a lot of unhappiness. LY is expensive and poor, so I think that AF are clever trying to tap into that connecting market and offer a "full F" experience compared to their main competitors, even in the current climate of uncertainty.
