Arriving off BA in OSL, all UK passport holders had to queue to see a passport officer (one only), whether or not we had already registered our biometrics. I was first off the plane and the existing queue was over 30 minutes. The officer was requiring people to do face and fingerprints on a machine next to his kiosk and this seemed to take hugely different lengths of time per person. It seems to me that a relatively inefficient system has been made massively more inefficient.
