At Hannover, they have 3 of the terminals at exit immigration. All out of use so fingerprints and (some) photos are being taken manually by the two manned booths. I only had to provide fingerprints (twice) and no photo but being a saddo i timed how long it took me from arriving at the booth to leaving and it was 3mins 36 seconds. Much of that time involved the agent looking at the screen and tapping/typing away. Hannover is a quiet airport so can well see how massive queues would form elsewhere
