Regardless of how common they are, the agents should at least be trained to recognize them. What should've saved me time ended up costing me more and caused me embarrassment when the agent gave me pushback and acted like I had no idea what I was talking about. Yes, I did already let AS know.
I’ve had zero issues with staff knowing what they are and they just scan as usual and go.
I usually get “oh cool” you got the electronic bag tags. You must travel a lot…..
I just wish BAGTAG has more airlines I can use it with. Looks at AF and SK. More importantly I’m surprised UA hasn’t jumped on it yet. They are the most savvy on IT and app integration.
