The driveway for the hotel is just before where the pickup is for the Mahanakhon building, despite them being in the same building. But even if they go to the other entrance, it's a very short walk between the pickup/dropoff points.
We used grab or bolt or the BTS when we were there. We really didn't have any difficulties, but we often had to direct the drivers into the correct driveway if they weren't familiar with the hotel entrance.
