For the ones in the same room type, there will likely be no issue at all - hotel v unlikely to need them to move rooms - if concerned , drop hotel an email with details of 2 bookings and ask them to keep the same room
It is up to you if you want to cancel and still can cancel without penalty, still seems that you would be worse off by paying extra to go with another company - if concerned on possibility of moving rooms, perhaps ask BA for price to upgrade room for rest of stay and you may still be better off than changing companies
If you are set on cancelling, then get it done before potentially Jet 2 raises its prices
