Routing/Blackout Dates:
Stopovers(greater than 4hrs at a connection point domestic), open jaws(fly in one airport and out of another, except co-terminals, and circle trips(where you go to multiple destinations before returning to origin) are not permitted. Blackout dates subject to the rules of the Primary ticket fare purchased.
FWIW, the 4 hour connection limit for stopovers is for US48 domestic fares only. Now that companion certs can be applied outside of these, it can potentially vary. In particular, currently, HNL fares allow up to 6 hours before a stopover occurs, Mexico/Central America/Caribbean fares allow up to 12 hours (except for US territories where it is 6), and Alaska fares allow up to 24 hours. Note that there are some cases where connections are less than the stopover limit, but DL will fare out separate fares on segments (broken fares). These are effectively multi-city bookings and not allowed by cert terms.
