I'm a long-term platinum card member but had never used the FHR credits in the past because we typically stay at our MVC timeshares or use Bonvoy or Hilton properties. When I made reservations using the link on the Amex website under FHR credit benefit "Book here' the list of options included the Residence Inn in Charlottesville, so I assumed I could receive the Amex credit for this prepaid stay (booked in October, stayed early November). I never received any credit and called Amex, but nobody I spoke with knew much about this benefit or when I should receive the credit. My brother encountered this same issue when he booked his reservation.

Now when I use the same link on their website there are very few options for most of the destinations I am considering. When I check Charlottesville, only one hotel was listed. I have two questions:
1. What types of hotels are included in the FHR Amex credit program?
2. Did the Amex website FHR link have a glitch at that time and include hotels that didn't participate in this program?
