I think I attended two or three after the Four Points closed. I know I stayed at least once each at the HR and the Marriott. Most recent LEX DO for me was April 2021.

Kids will be 4 and 1 so horse farm sounds great. I only made it there once in what must have been 2015 or so (Four Points era).

In case anyone else is bringing kids, miffytown (themed after the Dutch cartoon rabbit) is about 45 minutes north in Williamstown. I don't expect it to match the Miffy Museum in Utrecht but should be a nice excursion. Frankfort is sort of on the way, and Buffalo Trace allows all ages on their basic Trace Tour and also has a playground. Their current ticketing system releases (free) reservations on Wednesdays 8 weeks in advance.
