Despite connecting from QR's regional First Class and on a QR ticket throughout, I was denied access to the Al Safwa lounge as my onward flight was on a BA operated service. I therefore found myself unexpectedly in the Al Mourjan South lounge for dinner. This was the November main and deli menu, and a couple of the options from the all day menu.

The overcooked and uninterestingly presented miso glazed salmon fish for main course.



In reality, I ate these the other way around as both dishes were brought together and I didn't want the salmon to go cold. The waiting staff were apologetic and offered to bring me another salmon when I was ready, but I didn't want the original one going to waste.
